Murchie's Vienna Coffee is roasted with our Mexican beans at a temperature of 436° - 455° F (hotter than the normal roasting temperature for the Mexican Fancy, but cooler than the roasting temperature of the French Roast), creating a smooth, rich, darker medium roast coffee.
Its full, strong flavour makes it perfect for blending with flavours and other coffees, as well a making for a terrific rich brewed coffee or espresso.

- For a dark roasted, strong coffee, I find the Vienna quite velvety. It doesn't have any 'burnt' taste that you sometimes find in the darker coffees. I taste hints of chocolate, and it has a really smooth finish and nice creamy mouth feel. (Posted on 2012-10-24)
