    Product Description

    White and black pepper are both derived from the dries berry of Piper nigrum, but the dark coloured skin of the pepper is removed for white pepper.

    Indonesia and India are the major exporters of white pepper, but the plant is also native to Malaysia and Brazil.

    White pepper is commonly used in European cooking, and in prepared foods that are light in colour, where black pepper would visible show. White pepper has a milder flavour than black pepper, and compliments subtle flavours nicely.
