Product Description

Flavoured with Lychee juice and natural flavour, Lychee Tea is a blend of Congou teas from the Guangdong province in China – a locale known for its lychee fruits. Lychees are a very popular fruit in South and East Asia, including China and India. Similar in texture to grapes, they have a white flesh and distinctive fruity / floral flavour sometimes compared to roses and often recognized as a flavour note in Gewurtztraminer wine.

“Congou” is a version of the term “Kung Fu” or “Gongfu”, which in its most basic form simply means “achievement through great effort”. Congou is applied to fine black teas from China which require great skill to produce. They are typically Keemun (regional tea) or very similar to it in form and sweet, smooth, complex flavour and the tea leaves are processed by hand into tight, thin strips, without breaking the leaf.

Try this tea iced for a refreshing, fragrant cool drink!
