Many customers who frequented Murchie's Robson Street store in the 1960's and 1970's would often vacation in Palm Springs. They would venture off with their Murchie's Tea in tow, and return complaining that it did not taste right; it was weak, with no taste at all.
So, Murchie's created a tea blend that would stand up to the hard water found in the desert... thus creating the Palm Springs Blend.

- Murchie's Hidden Gem! Review by Petroushka
- In our household, 'Palm Springs' beats even the popular Murchie's No.10 blend. It's a Murchie's treasure that apparently hasn't been discovered by all. A complex, aromatic, highly satisfying taste that's just right with just about everything. If you've never tried it until now, I highly recommend you do! (Posted on 2014-08-06)
