In May 2005, this special blend was requested to honour Queen Elizabeth II's visit to the Royal Museum. The teas chosen were blended particularly for the water in Alberta which is described as 'hard', (compared to B.C.'s soft water)... thus the blend contains rich Assam teas with some Ceylon. Well rounded with the distinctive flavour of rich, malty Assam, this tea has now become a favorite with many!
The Royal Alberta Museum tea blend is still served at special occasions and sold in the gift store.

- Amazing Tea!Review by WolfMan
- I live with well water that has a high calcium and mineral content. The Royal Alberta Museum tea is incredibly smooth even with this hard water. This has become my new morning vice. Thank you, Murchies - this is an incredible blend! (Posted on 2012-07-12)
