Product Description
Different processing techniques provide a completely different flavour for Japanese green teas. Genmaicha is one of Japan's favourite.
Genmaicha is sometimes referred to "popcorn tea" because a few grains of the rice pop during the roasting process.
The steeped tea has a light yellow hue. Its flavour is mild and combines the fresh grassy flavour of green tea with the aroma of the roasted rice.
Green teas are delicate; they brew best at a low temperature for a short period of time.
