Product Description
Pan-fired Japanese green tea mixed with rice kernels to provide a sweet brew, Genmaicha produces a wonderful, distinct cup of tea.
Genmaicha is sometimes referred to "popcorn tea" because a few grains of the rice pop during the roasting process.
The steeped tea has a light yellow hue. Its flavor is mild and combines the fresh grassy flavor of green tea with the aroma of the roasted rice.
Green teas are delicate; they brew best at a low temperature for a short period of time.
