Product Description
Lung Ching actually means “dragons well” as it refers to the legend of a well halfway up a mountainside inhabited by a local benevolent dragon outside of Hangzhou, in Zhejiang province, where this tea was originally grown.
A true spring pick, Lung Ching takes it’s slightly toasted flavour from being fired by hand in electric woks. This is performed in several stages so the tea does not scorch but takes on a light toasted flavour, and skilfully pressed during this process to obtain its signature flat, smooth leaves.
Fresh, sweet and high in Vitamin C, this tea is great to drink all day, or as a relaxing pick-me-up in the evening.
Green teas are delicate; they brew best at low temperature for a short period of time.
