Gyokuro Jade Dew Tea

Gyokuro Jade Dew green tea is grown in the Uji region, just south of Kyoto, Japan, in a district also known for Sencha and Matcha tea production. The leaves are harvested by hand, lightly steamed, dried and rolled.

Prior to harvesting, the tea bushes are shaded for three weeks, to increase the chlorophyll of the leaves, adding to the rich, green colour of the leaves.

This brew has a clean-smelling, grassy aroma with a balanced bittersweet taste and finishes with a full mouth feel.

Straight, fine, deep green leaves make up this refined cup, considered to be the tea of choice for the green tea connoisseur.

Green teas are delicate; they brew best at a low temperature for a short period of time.
