We are not much for bought Christmas cakes so have made our own for fifty plus years … an old family recipe that everyone loved. Can no longer make my time tested cake nowadays so decided to purchase a Murchies Christmas cake. What a delicious surprise at a very reasonable price. Was interested in my husbands opinion on your cake. "It's pretty good Annie". That is pretty high recommendation from the Chef. It could have a bit more brandy but it is moist and fruity. The little marzipan tree is very cute.

This cake is moist, full of fruit and nuts for a delicious tasting cake I kid you not. The balance of ingredients is perfect and with Christmas blend tea, you'll love it.

This cake says Christmas all the way. So fabulous and full of fruit and nuts just the way fruitcake should be. I think it could use a bit more brandy but otherwise just great.
